Directions - Route Summary
The driving route from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) to The Rankin in downtown Columbus, Georgia, typically takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes (approximately 98 miles) via I-85 S & I-185 S.
Exit the Airport: Head southwest on North Terminal Parkway and follow signs to merge onto I-85 S toward Montgomery.
Follow I-85 S: Stay on I-85 S for approximately 55 miles, passing through Newnan and LaGrange.
Take I-185 S: Keep right at the fork to transition onto I-185 S (Exit 21) toward Columbus. Follow I-185 S for about 40 miles as you enter the Columbus area.
Enter Downtown Columbus: Take Exit 10 for GA-22 W/US-80 W (J.R. Allen Parkway) toward Phenix City. Use the right lane to take the GA-1 S/Veterans Parkway exit.
Final Approach: Turn left onto Veterans Parkway, continue south toward the uptown district, and turn right onto 10th Street. The Rankin Building will be on your left at 7 West 10th Street.
